Stacey Crawford

Business Development Manager

Stacey is a dedicated Business Development Manager at Shrewd HR, bringing a wealth of experience from her BSc in Business Management and six years of success in business development and sales management. Her expertise, honed across both public and private sectors, includes market analysis, customer relationship management, and leading high-performing sales teams to consistently exceed targets and drive revenue growth.

Stacey takes a solution-based approach to her work, tailoring HR strategies to meet each client’s unique needs and challenges. She thrives on building strong, lasting relationships and delivering measurable results that foster business growth and employee satisfaction. Stacey finds the most rewarding part of her role is knowing she’s made a positive impact on businesses and their employees, helping them succeed and grow.

Beyond her professional life, Stacey enjoys exploring the outdoors with her energetic cocker spaniel, Dennis. Whether it’s long walks, games of fetch or simply soaking up the fresh air, Stacey treasures these moments as a way to recharge and connect with nature.

Amy Chandler

HR Consultant

Amy has over 14 years of experience in HR, starting her career with an apprenticeship after studying Law at sixth form. She quickly realised HR was the perfect fit and has progressed from apprentice to Head of HR. Throughout her career, Amy has been involved in every aspect of the employee journey and supporting organisations through significant change. She has focused on building positive workplace cultures and ensuring HR policies and processes are in place to deliver fairness and consistency for employees.

At Shrewd HR, Amy is excited by the variety of clients and challenges each project presents. She is looking forward to contributing to Shrewd’s ambitious goals and collaborating with a team of skilled professionals.

With practical experience and academic qualifications, including Level 5 and Level 7 CIPD qualifications and a Master’s in International HR Management, Amy applies proven HR methodologies to help clients solve complex challenges. Colleagues would describe her as approachable, adaptable, and clear in her communication.

Outside of work, Amy is a self-confessed nerd with a spreadsheet for everything! Her husband jokes about her holiday packing spreadsheet, but with two young boys, organisation is key. Amy is also treasurer for her son’s football team and you’ll often find her on the side of a football pitch.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending his weekends fishing and unwinding in the great outdoors.

Yashraj Singh

Business Development Research Intern

Yashraj Singh is a Business Development Research Intern at Shrewd HR, where he analyses the UK business environment to provide insights that inform targeted strategies and specialised HR solutions. With an MSc in Management from Durham University and a background in mathematics, Yashraj brings expertise in market research, data analysis and business strategy. His experience includes roles at Hewlett Packard in Stockholm, where he provided strategic insights into brand positioning, and Gehr GmbH, where he developed AI-driven solutions to tackle business challenges.

Yashraj is passionate about working with SMEs, helping them implement tailored, results-driven solutions that drive growth and community development. His approach is rooted in offering highly customised, flexible solutions that align with Shrewd HR’s client-centric ethos.

Outside of work, Yashraj is an active volunteer, promoting sustainable development initiatives, and enjoys playing guitar as a creative outlet. He is also a member of the Durham University Lawn Tennis and Rifle Clubs, staying active and engaged. His interests in stock trading reflect his analytical mindset and progressive approach to personal and professional growth.
